Treasure Wynder, LCSW
Treasure Wynder, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. She provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, trauma-related issues, and women’s mental health concerns. Treasure has a special passion for working with children and adolescents, helping them understand and manage difficult emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and improve relationships at home and school. She also enjoys supporting individuals during the perinatal and postpartum periods, recognizing the unique emotional, physical, and relational transitions that can accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood. Treasure utilizes a client-centered approach and incorporates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. She strives to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to reach their goals.
Treasure earned her Master of Social Work degree from Howard University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia State University. She has experience serving clients in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health programs, crisis intervention services, and military-connected environments. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges while building resilience, confidence, and healthy coping strategies. Her broad clinical experience allows her to meet clients where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs and circumstances.
Outside of her professional work, Treasure enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, supporting her athletic activities, and creating meaningful family memories. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and prioritizing health and wellness as part of a balanced lifestyle. Treasure values personal growth, strong relationships, and authentic connection, and she brings those same values into her work with clients as they pursue healing, growth, and emotional well-being.
