Sadie Herts, LPC

Sadie Herts is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and is passionate about helping each person she works with build a life worth living. Sadie has special interest in working with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her goal is to help each person build skills to overcome life’s most difficult problems, have satisfying relationships, and discover a sense of purpose. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and utilizes this approach to unburden those who have experienced traumatic events. Throughout counseling, Sadie encourages spiritual growth to help strengthen the mind and soul.

Sadie holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has worked with teens, adults, and couples in the outpatient setting. She utilizes therapeutic approaches of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals find peace with others and with themselves. Sadie also received training in Gottman Level 1 and is certified in PREPARE/ENRICH, both methods in strengthening pre-marital and married couples.

In addition to counseling, Sadie enjoys working with students as an adjunct instructor at Liberty University. In her spare time, Sadie likes to paint, share a meal with friends and family, and travel with her husband.
