
Patricia Hammersley, LPC
Patricia Hammersley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia and is registered as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered, Biblical-based, and EMDR approaches. Patricia is passionate about helping clients achieve their potential and fulfillment in life, including being healed and overcoming in areas of hurt and/or trauma that has resulted in depression, anxiety, distorted thinking, broken relationships, and/or self-defeating behaviors. Patricia seeks to provide a safe environment and to “come alongside” the client to see the positive life changes that the client seeks in his or her life. Healing, restoration, wholeness, peace and joy are all attainable.
Patricia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Regent University. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. Patricia completed her residency at Christian Psychotherapy Services administering psychological assessments and providing individual counseling as well as providing in-home and outpatient therapy with Family Insight, P.C.
Patricia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, church activities, travel, and reading. A favorite pastime is backyard bird watching and, when she is able, snorkeling in tropical locations.
