
Mary Giencke, LPC
Mary Giencke is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered, and Biblical-based approaches. Mary has worked with individuals with mood disorders, ADHD, Autism, women’s issues, self-esteem, and military issues. Mary’s counseling experience includes individual, marital, and family therapy. She thoroughly enjoys working with adolescents and families. Mary is passionate about helping clients explore life’s challenges, build empowerment, and enhance lives.
Mary graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. In addition to private practice, Mary’s professional experience includes work with the individuals with disabilities. She was a direct support professional as well an employment specialist helping individuals with daily life skills, employment, training, and education services.
Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, water sports, and volunteering as a special needs buddy at her church.
