Lauren Wilson, LPC

Lauren Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and has worked in the mental health field since 2012. She has served teens, adults, and seniors in the inpatient, community, and outpatient settings. She has assisted clients who are dealing with significant life changes, trauma, stress, depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance abuse issues. Ms. Wilson employs a variety of cognitive behavioral techniques to assist clients with meeting their goals and making the changes they want to make in their lives. She believes that to move forward, we must examine our emotional, mental, and spiritual needs and convictions and strives to assist clients with this journey in a compassionate way.  

Ms. Wilson graduated with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Liberty University, completing her internship and residency through Genesis Counseling Center and Colonial Behavioral Health.  

Ms. Wilson loves to spend time with her family when she gets the chance and can probably be found hanging out with friends or getting caught up in a good book or movie during her down time.
