Neurofeedback Specialist

Kirsten is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Neurofeedback Specialist. Kirsten’s therapy utilizes a person-centered approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She has worked with a variety of clients to include children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Kirsten has a passion to work alongside her clients in the facilitation of overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals. Kirsten also integrates Christian, biblical concepts and scriptures into her therapeutic interventions for those clients seeking spiritual integration.

Kirsten received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016. She has been with Genesis since 2015. Kirsten completed her internship and residency experience with Genesis Counseling Center assisting in the completion of psychological assessments and therapy with a variety of clients from various backgrounds, cultures, and disorders. She specializes in Neurofeedback therapy, which works to retrain the brain and manage symptoms from a variety of disorders. Kirsten is a certified facilitator in Prepare Enrich, one of the mostly widely used programs for pre-marital counseling and pre-marital education.

During her free time, Kirsten enjoys growing in her relationship with Christ and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys singing, any activities related to spring and summer seasons, being outdoors, and loves spending time with her dog.
