Jerra Daugherty, LCSW
Jerra Daugherty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and working toward her Registered Play Therapist in the state of Virginia. Jerra has worked in the mental health field since 1996 in a variety of settings and populations including private practice, at-risk youth, military families, home health and hospice. She is a compassionate, solutions-oriented mental health counselor with skills in leading situation-specific counseling session and expertise in working with children and adults in crisis.
Jerra Daugherty received her Mater of Social Work from the University of Southern California, Master of Human and Community Services from Capella University and Bachelor of Science is Psychology and Social Work from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York. Her therapy approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Modification and Motivational Interviewing (IM).
Jerra is the proud mom of one and loves spending time with her. She enjoys traveling, biking, walking and peaceful times outside in all of God’s marvelous creations.
