Aubrey Smith, LPC

Aubrey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Aubrey’s therapy utilizes a person-centered approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Aubrey has worked with children, adolescents, adults, Veterans and couples. Aubrey has serviced clients in outpatient facilities, the VA, correctional facilities, hospitals, in-home, and intensive outpatient programs in Indiana, California, Massachusetts, and Virginia.  

Aubrey received her Master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Applied Gerontology in 2015 from Ball State University is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2012 from Ball State University. She has been with Genesis since 2020 and completed her residency experience with Genesis Counseling Center assisting in the completion of psychological assessments and therapy with a variety of clients from various backgrounds, cultures, and disorders. She also is certified in Alzheimer’s treatment and Trauma.  

When not at work, Aubrey coaches volleyball in the Tidewater area at the high school level. She is originally from the Cincinnati, Ohio area and enjoys spending time with her family as often as possible.
