Steve is the Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Counseling Center and co-founder of Genesis Assist and Genesis Autism Center.

Steve spent most of his professional life working for the Procter & Gamble Company where he held numerous leadership positions in quality and manufacturing focused primarily on drug and cosmetic products. Steve was awarded the James N. Gamble award which is the highest recognition to individuals in P&G Quality Assurance who have made outstanding leadership contributions.

In addition to his roles at Genesis, Steve is a keynote speaker, leadership coach, and quality consultant. He is active in the pharmaceutical and personal care products industries and works closely with the US FDA. He has helped lead several industry quality committees such as the Quality Assurance Committee of the Personal Care Products Council, the Pharmaceutical Industry Association of Puerto Rico, and the ISPE Advancing Pharmaceutical Quality committee. Steve often speaks at pharma and personal care industry conferences and workshops.

Steve is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He was the student senate president and was part of the Caldwell Fellows Leadership program. He is an Eagle Scout and has served in leadership roles within the scouting program.

Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and church along with scuba diving, hiking, traveling, and photography (especially wildlife both above and underwater).
