Heidi Conlin has worked in the counseling field since 2008. She is licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is also licensed in the state of Idaho. Heidi’s therapy utilizes a Post-Modern Approach, as well as incorporating additional approaches/tools. She has worked with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She enjoys helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, setting and meeting goals, eating disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and many other areas. She cares deeply about her clients and puts her heart into collaboratively helping clients find solutions to their challenges. Heidi feels blessed to have the opportunity to work alongside clients to start their journey towards a healthier and happier life.  Heidi received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas in Austin. She then went on to pursue her Masters of Science degree in Counseling at Our Lady of the Lake University. Heidi has worked in a variety of settings, with various populations and areas. She has a particular passion for helping clients become their best selves and encourages a focus on their foundational wellness incorporating healthy nutrition, exercise, and sleep practices. Heidi has earned her Clinical Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist Certification, which helps her integrate the importance of nutrition into their mental health. She strives to see her clients' problems through their eyes and is open-minded to create a comfortable and non-judgmental atmosphere for change. As a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP) through the Integrative Sex Therapy Institute, Heidi is also specially trained to help couples and individuals address intimacy and sexual concerns as a healthy, meaningful part of relationships — offering a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for conversations that can feel difficult to begin. Heidi lives in Boerne, Texas and has been married to her amazing husband since 2010. They have been blessed with two children, one son and one daughter, as well as their dogs Gringo and Chispa. She enjoys watching college football (Go Longhorns), traveling, working out, running, and has run two half marathons. She and her husband are actively involved in their church and enjoy teaching elementary age children at the children’s service.
