Estela Roman has worked in the mental health field since 2015. She holds licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is recognized for her work with individuals struggling with relationship difficulties and trauma. depression, anxiety, and grief. Estela Roman therapy approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy with an emphasis on psychoeducation, “Education is Power.”  Estela Roman received her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Nyack College in New York. Estela has a range of experience working with women with trauma, including past experience working at the Bowery Mission’s Women’s Center in NYC, providing counseling, including pastoral counseling and support, speaking to Christian audiences on Hope and Healing. Estela Roman has a range of experience working in the behavioral health field with the elderly and teenage population. In addition, Estela has years of experience working in Customer Service and worked as a Business Analyst with Sprint Communications. Estela Roman has a spiritual foundation and has a passion to help others heal and gain meaning and purpose in their lives.  Estela Roman enjoys speaking to audiences about hope and healing.
