DeLana Davis has over 20 years’ experience in all levels of mental health for individuals ranging 5 and up providing individual, family, and group therapy. She holds licensure in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and works with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, behavioral issues, trauma, and issues with self-worth. DeLana Davis comes from a strengths-based approach, which basically means that everyone is capable of success with the right support and tools.  Ms. Davis is a graduate of Baylor University and went on to obtain her master’s degree in social work at Our Lady of the Lake University. Her calling to provide mental health services to others was confirmed during her practicum at the San Antonio State Hospital, where she worked with adolescent patients dealing with chronic mental health conditions. Following almost 15 years of providing treatment in the inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings for children, she transitioned to providing the same services to adults. She has also successfully branched out to providing services to the intellectually disabled population and their caregivers in the management of their mental health and behavioral needs.   Ms. Davis enjoys personal growth and believes that her client’s needs are most important. She loves learning and providing new information to her clients that will benefit their growth. When not working, she enjoys chaperoning her son’s high school band, thrift shopping, traveling, and learning new things on Podcasts.
