Brandi Albright, LPC
Brandi Albright is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. Brandi’s approach to therapy is based on the foundations of Interpersonal Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked with a variety of clients to include children, adolescents, and adults with varying difficulties. Brandi’s professional interests include a passion for helping individuals recovering from trauma.
Brandi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and minors in Business Administration and Criminal Justice from Longwood University. Brandi earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She has been with Genesis since 2017. She completed her practicum, internship, and residency experience at Genesis Counseling Center assisting in the completion of psychological assessments and providing individual and group psychotherapy to individuals to a diverse population with a broad range of clinical concerns (anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, trauma).
Brandi can be found spending her time off work with her husband, their child, their dog, and friends. She especially enjoys any activity that involves being outside, reading fiction, attempting new recipes to cook, and traveling.
