Dick pastored churches for 52 years in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. During this time, he had the opportunity to counsel individuals with a great variety of problems, including family and marriage challenges. He graduated from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL;- M.A. in Christian Education; State University of New York at Plattsburgh, NY-M.S. in Family & Marriage Counseling; Houghton College, Houghton, NY- B.A. in Religion/History.

Now working at Genesis Counseling Center in Hamptpn Roads, Virginia, Dick is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors..
