Sherry has a Master’s in Professional Counseling through Liberty University, Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Special Education through Nova University, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia and North Carolina, and has a certification in Biblical counseling through Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
Sherry believes that “the goal of counseling is to bring about positive change in the hearts and thoughts of each individual. Past experiences can influence present thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. The evidence of true change is the change in our thoughts that produces change in our actions. This change also includes a well roundedness and balance of social, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Through counseling, you can expect to be part of and take part in the direction and distance of your recovery and restoration. Together, we can share this journey.”
Sherry’s hobbies are traveling, gardening, craft painting, small woodworking projects, and outdoor activities. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
