Ramsey Goshert, LPC
Ramsey Goshert is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with children, adolescents, and adults with special focus on men and military families. He has experience in a wide variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric, home and community-based support to children/adolescents, school-based counseling, substance abuse treatment, adult mental health support, and programs for military children/families. He has specialized training and supervision in the practice of play therapy and evidenced-based strategies.
Ramsey received his BA in Biblical Studies from Toccoa Falls College and his Masters in Counseling from Regent University. His training includes the integration of Christian faith and Biblical truth with person-centered and strength-based counseling strategies. He seeks to empower individuals to create an action plan to move toward improved relationships, increased control over behaviors, enhancing mood, and successful living.
Ramsey was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania. He relocated to Virginia Beach in 2005 to attend Regent University. In his free time, he spends time with his wife and two children. He enjoys hiking, relaxing at the beach, and playing guitar for the church worship team.
