- Go to your email for a message to sign-up for the patient portal and click on the link
- Create your own password
- Answer a few security questions
- If requested, validate your account by calling the provided phone number
- Gain access into your patient portal
- Look for measures to complete (e.g., Clinical History) before your first appointment
New Client Forms

- Use the New Client Forms button above to finish the process
- When prompted take a photo of your ID and both sides of your insurance card
- Be sure to scroll to the bottom and Click Submit to finish

- Just before the start of your appointment, return to the Genesis Website and click “Online Check-in”
- Click on your Clinician’s name
- When the pop-up box appears type in your first and last name to enter the virtual waiting room
- Your session will start when your clinician arrives
What is Online Therapy?
At Genesis, we are committed to offering services that best meet the needs of our clients. With online therapy, we can meet clients where they are and offer excellent counseling services to those who may have obstacles to coming into one of our offices for care. Online therapy provides the convenience of counseling in a variety of private settings using your private computer or electronic devices.
How Does Online Therapy Work?
We offer secure, web-based video counseling using a software platform called Doxy.me. Clients will be able to use their computer or portable device, such as a smartphone or tablet, with webcam, microphone and speakers to connect with their counselor through this system.
Online therapy services can be offered to individuals, families, or couples in their home or in an agreed upon location that is deemed to be the most appropriate for sessions. Online therapy is now covered by most insurances.
